У сутінках старовинного замку, в якому здавна спочивали таємниці, стояло приміщення, сповите завісами могутніх портьєр. Стелі височіли вгору, зникаючи у темряві, немовби там, у висотах, живуть самі мрії.

Дерев'яні половці ледь литали в повітрі, неначе стрімка ріка часу, і на їхніх поверхнях танцювали тіні, приховуючи давні історії. Світло старих люстр, мов свічки пам'яті, вирізняло кришталеві переливи старовинних меблів, даруючи їм новий життєвий відтінок.

Під ногами — килими, що віддзеркалювали свій віковий візерунок. Їхні м'які візерунки та невидимі аромати дещо змішувалися, створюючи неповторну атмосферу майже феєричного світу. Стіни прикрашали картини, де кольори здавалися розливатися, словно вони виходили за межі холу, розповідаючи про минуле в смутному світлі світильників.

Таке приміщення було не тільки частиною замку, але й часовим порталом, де доторкнутися до минулого стало можливим за допомогою лише кроку вперед у цьому вирі між часом і простором.
