- 200g mushrooms, sliced

- 150ml heavy cream

- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
- Salt and pepper to taste
**Instructions:**
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and cook until they become translucent.
3. Add the sliced mushrooms and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until the mushrooms are tender and any liquid they release has evaporated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and the remaining tablespoon of butter. Stir well and let it simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens.
5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss it with the mushroom and cream sauce until everything is well coated.
6. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese. Continue to toss the pasta until the cheese has melted and the sauce is creamy.
7. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and extra grated Parmesan, if desired.
