My favorite Ukrainian singer is Zhenya Milkovskyi. He was born in Ukraine. Before the war, he lived and sang in Russian. After the start of the war, he immediately left Russia and made public his position that he was for Ukraine. I closed all accounts in Russia and left there forever. He held charity concerts to help Ukraine. He sent donations to help Ukraine. He loves Ukraine. And it shows well. Soon he will release a song in Ukrainian. I am really looking forward to the release of this song. It is about war. I really admire him, he is handsome and always kind and sincere to his followers. In my opinion, this is the best singer, and I love him very much.

As a lover of Ukrainian music, there are many talented singers and musicians that I admire. However, one artist in particular stands out as my favorite: Jamala.
Born in Osh, Kyrgyzstan, Jamala (real name Susana Jamaladinova) moved to Ukraine with her family as a child. Her music is a unique blend of genres, incorporating elements of jazz, soul, and traditional Crimean Tatar music.
Jamala first rose to prominence in Ukraine after winning the fourth season of the reality singing competition "Stars of the East" in 2009. However, it was her victory at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest that really catapulted her to international fame. Her song "1944," which dealt with the forced deportation of Crimean Tatars by the Soviet Union during World War II, struck a chord with audiences around the world and earned her the coveted Eurovision crown.
What I love most about Jamala's music is the way she combines her incredible vocal range with deeply personal lyrics and a powerful social message. Her music is at once deeply emotional and socially conscious, tackling issues like identity, displacement, and the struggle for justice and equality.
One of my favorite Jamala songs is "Zamanyly" (translated as "They've Driven Us Crazy"), a haunting ballad that speaks to the sense of disillusionment and frustration that many Ukrainians felt in the wake of the country's 2014 revolution. With lyrics like "Our homeland is being trampled, our dreams are dying, but we'll rise up again," the song is a powerful call to action for Ukrainians to unite and fight for a better future.
Another standout Jamala track is "Solo," a soulful anthem that celebrates the power of individuality and self-expression. With its upbeat tempo and infectious chorus, "Solo" is a perfect example of Jamala's ability to blend different genres and styles into something entirely her own.
In addition to her music, Jamala is also a passionate advocate for human rights and social justice. She has spoken out against the ongoing conflict in eastern Ukraine and the plight of Crimean Tatars under Russian occupation. Her music is a testament to the power of art to inspire change and promote understanding between different cultures and communities.
In conclusion, Jamala is not only my favorite Ukrainian singer, but also a true inspiration and role model. Her music is a powerful reminder of the importance of speaking out against injustice and fighting for a better world. I am grateful for the impact that her music has had on me personally, and I look forward to seeing what she will accomplish in the years to come.
