•військова реформа, заміна найманців-варягів на дружинників-слов'ян

•релігійна реформа, спочатку спроба реформувати язичництво, проголосив Перуна верховним Богом.

•запровадження християнства як державної релігії у 988р.

•судова реформа, нове зведення законів усного звичаєвого права

•розбудова Києва будівництво фортеці навколо центру міста зведення церковь святого Василя та Богородиці.
