Historic Cold Wave / Winter Storm  in the USA

A historic cold wave and winter storm impacted many northwest, central, and eastern states in February 2021. Temperature departures exceeding 22.2 degrees C below normal occurred from Nebraska southward to Texas. The Arctic air caused widespread power outages in Texas, as well as other southern states, with multiple days of sustained below-freezing temperatures. At the peak of the outage, nearly 10 million people were without power. Additional impacts were frozen water pipes, which burst upon thawing causing water damage to buildings.

These extreme conditions also caused to the direct and indirect deaths of more than 210 people in Texas alone. There were 226 deaths in general. There were also snow and ice impacts across numerous states including Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Louisiana, Mississippi, Colorado, Oregon, and Washington.  

People say February event is now the costliest U.S. winter storm event on record. The government spent $24.0 billion on it.

В США прошло мощное торнадо. Произошло оно 11.03.2014 в селе под Вашингтоном заметили его в первые в 12:34. Торнадо нанёс сильний ущерб селу. У домов посносило крыши. Повезло что все оперативно евакуировались и никто из людей не пострадал. Лишь единицы сооружений смогли уцелеть. Были также уничтожены загоны, фермы и огороды. Люди были в шоке от такого явление, они не знали что им делать и куда идти. Но к щастью им помогли. Сейчас село активно восстанавливается.
