FASHION OF THE FUTURE
Fashion changes very quickly, so in the future it will be very strange for us of today. The clothes won't change very much, but it will have many modern elements and smart materials. Clothes of the future will have built-in screens, computers, phones, solar panels and many other gadgets. I think the clothes will have heaters and will wash and iron itself. Shoes in the future will move people by land, water and air.
In the future schoolboys will wear trousers and blazers of silver color. They will have built-in computers. When they go to the parties, boys will wear white suits or light shirts with silver trousers.
Clothes for girls will be very beautiful. When at school the girls will were pink uniforms. When they go to the parties, they will wear short golden dresses with silver details. They will also wear brilliant accessories on their clothes.
Clothes of the future
It appears that predictions about clothes of the future usually focus on the next season and are done by trendwatchers and fashion designers.
According to science fiction movies, we will all be wearing the same spandex suits, preferably in silver. Everyone looks the same and wears the same outfit every day. The advantage of a uniform is not having to think about what you’re wearing, leaving your processing power for more important stuff. Steve Jobs famously wore a black turtleneck and Einstein is known to have copies of the exact same outfit and wore the same clothes every day of the week “to simplify his life”. But everyone in the same outfit is also boring. And mind you: not everyone looks good in silver spandex.
In my point of view, we expected clothes with built-in technology such as camera’s, phones and other communication devices. But if you look at what people are wearing today, the most important innovation is in the materials: weather-resistant, elastic, and breathable. Clothes of the future should only be like this.
