Нехай спочатку у кошику було х яблук.

Додали 15 яблук,

стало (х+15) яблук

а потім взяли 1/7 утвореної кількості - 20 шт., тобто рівняння

(х+15) : 7 = 20

х+15=20*7

х+15=140

х=140-15

х=125 (яблук) - було спочатку

Відповідь: спочатку було у корзині 125 яблук.
