Спільні риси:сильні,витривалі,прекрасно володіли тогочасною зброєю,істинні воїни,хоробрі,розумні,справедливі.Почнемо з Гектора. Гектор людяний. Він ні разу косо не глянув на Єлену, а це ж вона винна у всіх бідах троянців, не дорікнув їй гірким словом. І до брата свого Паріса, винуватця Троянської війни, він не відчуває ненависті. Він досадує на недолугість та зніженість Паріса й кидає йому в обличчя гіркі докори. Але варто Парісові визнати його, Гектора, правоту й просити пробачення, як гнів Гектора охолоджується, і він готовий вже усе простити Парісу. Він люблячий чоловік і батько.Проте головною відмінністю є надзвичайна людяність порядність Гектора та надмірна гнівливість і жорстокість Ахілла.
