1. (Здесь) подставляете слово в первой части предложения (сказал, попросил, ответил и пр)
2. Меняете во второй части предложения прямые местоимения на непрямые (I на me, he на him). Как в русском языке (он - его и пр)
3. Меняете время во второй части предложения на одно назад, т. е. Present Ind на Past Ind, Past Perf на Pr/Past Perf
