Биологическое значение в том, что они синтезируют (создают ) разные продукты. Фотосинтезирующие организмы синтезируют кислород, необходимый для гетеротрофов и некоторых процессов хемотрофов, а хемотрофы в свою очередь синтезируют органические вещества, раскладывая вещества из окружающей среды , необходимые для гетеротрофов
