This is a fantastic story about future, when it would be possible to do very unusual operations on heart.  It tells us about the surgeon who doesn't like the idea, that all the people who needs a new heart, wants to have only the matal one.  He tries to convince his new patient  to have not a metal but a plastic heart. He is sure that plastic heart is much more similar to a  real human and especially in that particular case. But neither the pacient, nor his assistant doesn't understand that idea.  the pacient doesn't think that he would turn into the robot with a new heart and he is sure that such heart would serve him much longer than  a cheap plastic. Finally the surgeon agrees with him.
