4)when i was young/ I would / used to believe in ghosts
5) by the time we caught him,he had stolen / stole 20,000
6) this is the first time i could / have been able to understand computers
7)The bus to London leaves / will leave at five o'clock every day
8)If we left now, we would / will be there by teatime
