In Bukhara, once one of the "Three pearls" of the silk road, the old historic quarter illustrates 1.000 years of history in its collection of caravansaries, domed bazaars, mosques, and madrassas.And in Khiva, a walled city in the entire inner town are a virtual outdoor museum of the 17th to 19th centurues.Our last syop is at asjkhabad, capital of Turkmenistan, where we wander in its famous Sunday rug bazaar and ride camels before returning home.
