Галактика это система из звезд, пыли и газа удерживаемых вместе при помощи гравитации. Наша солнечная система находится в галактике Млечный Путь. Ученые подсчитали, что существуют более 100 миллиардов галактик которые разбросаны по всей видимой Вселенной. При помощи телескопов удалось сфотографировать миллионы галактик.Галактики имеют размер от нескольких тысяч до полумиллиона световых лет. Маленькие галактики состоят из менее чем миллиарда звёзд, большие галактики имеют более триллиона звёзд.
