What are the basic rights and responsibilities of man and citizen, fixed in the Constitution of the Russian Federation? They are divided into personal, political, civil, socio- economic and cultural. The right is what the state guarantees to give to its citizens, and the duty is what citizens guarantee to give to their state. The recognition, observance and protection of human and civil rights and freedoms is the duty of the state. Human rights are the inalienable rights of every human being, regardless of nationality, place of residence, sex, ethnicity, colour, religion, language or any other characteristic. All people have equal human rights, without discrimination of any kind. Human rights play an important role in the modern world. This includes civil rights, political, economic and social rights. Such rights are enshrined in accepted international norms and in the basic law of each state - its Constitution. The Convention for the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms was adopted in 1950. This document has become an international law. In today's world, human rights are often violated. This happens for different reasons. Such a violation is not only an internal matter of the state, but also allows for the intervention of other States in order to restore these rights.
