Dinosaurs lived millions of years ago. There were over 700 different species, some could fly, others could swim but most could only live on the land. Some of the dinosaurs were plant-eaters and others were hunters and ate other dinosaurs.  The most well-known dinosaurs is T. rex. It was a large dinosaur with a long tail for balance, strong large back legs for running and short arms.
