I want to tell you what happened to me yesterday afternoon. When I came home from school, I had dinner and began doing my homework. While I was doing it, the telephone rang.
It was my  friend. He said he had something important to tell me and asked me to come to his place. I left home two minutes later. It was a wonderful day. The sun was shining and a pleasant cool wind blowing. 
I was feeling very happy
I knew something wonderful was going to happen. When I came to my friend's place, I found the door of his flat open. I came in. My friend was sitting on the floor. In front of him stood a big box and he was looking into it. 
I came up to him and looked into the box too. There were two lovely puppies in the box! "Here," said my friend. "One is mine and one is yours. You always wanted to have a poodle. It's my surprise" 
The little puppies were playing with each other. It was fun to watch them. I chose the bigger one, thanked my friend and went home. 
I thought that all the people in the street were  looking at me and my dog. I felt so happy.
