Dear Sir / Madam,
I am writing to apply for the summer programme. I would like to participate in this programme because I want to improve my knowledge of English. I study English at school but I am sure that your intensive foreign language classes will be much more effective. I also appreciate the opportunity to meet new people, broaden my outlook and learn more about different cultures and traditions of other nations. The participation in your programme will give me a lot of opportunities and I would like to take advantage of such a possibility.
