Walt Disney, a famous American producer, was born in 1901.

He spent his childhood on a farm helping his father. Walt wasn't a good student at  school because he was interested in movie house and drawing.

After the First World War he managed to set up his own film company. He loved cartoons and was full of ideas. He always knew what he wanted.

His most famous works are cartoons about Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, Snow White and many other characters. Disney's cartoon films are popular all over the world. He also created Disneyland, a magical park for children and their parents.

Disney died in 1966 but his studios still produce movies.
