Rob: So, how did Ben and Clare’s wedding go?

Louisa: It was great! It was a shame you weren’t there.

Rob: Yeah, Ben said he’d send me some photos. How was he on the day? He was

so nervous when I saw him the day before. He’s usually so cheerful. I thought

he’d be excited. I’ve never seen him like that.

Louisa: Well, that’s normal, isn’t it? It is one of the biggest days of your life.

Rob: True, but still … Anyway, what about Clare?

Louisa: Well, I guess most brides look happy, but she just looked really beautiful. I’m

sure she was tired too, but she didn’t look it.

Rob: And did Clare cry?

Louisa: No, funnily enough she didn’t, but Ben did! Her mother certainly cried a bit.

Rob: What about the party after the wedding? How many of you were there?

Louisa: I guess there were about 50 of us. There were more people at the wedding

though – about 70. I was sitting with Clare’s relatives. I didn’t know she had

such a big family. There were about 30 of them.

Rob: And what about Clare’s older brother Jack?

Louisa: Well, of course he was there. He’s usually really embarrassing, but I think he

was actually quite upset about something. I didn’t really notice too much. The

rest of Clare’s family were really funny!

Rob: So you had a good time?

Louisa: Oh, yes. The meal was great, and the band was even better – really fantastic.

I haven’t danced so much in ages. I can’t wait to see the photos!

Rob: No, me neither!
