Last summer, my family and I went on a super fun trip to Spain. We flew to Madrid, which is a big city with lots of cool things to see and do.

We saw amazing castles and beautiful old buildings that looked like they were from fairytales. The streets were noisy but in a happy way, with music and yummy smells everywhere.

In Barcelona, we visited a special church called the Sagrada Familia. It was super tall and had colorful designs! The beaches were so pretty with soft sand and clear water. We played in the waves and built sandcastles that got washed away by the sea.

Eating Spanish food was awesome! I tried paella, which is a yummy rice dish, and churros with chocolate sauce—my favorite treat!

We watched people dance flamenco, which was a cool and fast dance with clapping and stomping. People in Spain were friendly, and even though I didn't speak much Spanish, they smiled and helped us understand.

Visiting small towns was fun too. They had colorful festivals with parades and music that made me want to dance along.

I learned a lot about Spain and had the best time ever! It was sad to leave, but I'll always remember the fun adventures and new friends from our trip.
