For the Filling:

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a bowl, toss the sliced apples with lemon juice to prevent browning.

In a separate bowl, mix together the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and flour.

Add the sugar mixture to the sliced apples, ensuring they are well coated.

Assembling the Pie:

Roll out two-thirds of the chilled dough on a floured surface to fit your pie dish.

Transfer the rolled-out dough to the pie dish, pressing it gently into the corners.

Spoon the apple filling into the pie crust, spreading it evenly.

Roll out the remaining dough to create the pie's top crust. You can either place it as a whole crust on top or create a lattice pattern.
