Удень більша частина атмосферного кисню надходить до рослин через процес фотосинтезу. Фотосинтез - це процес, під час якого рослини, за використання сонячного світла, вуглекислого газу та води, виробляють глюкозу і кисень. Кисень, утворений під час цього процесу, вивільняється в атмосферу та стає частиною атмосферного кисню.
