Dear Alice,
Great news! We've moved into our new house. To be more precise, we've been living here for a week now and I love it! There's a lot to do with the property, but we've already begun the renovations. Over the last week, I've been painting the bedrooms, and I'm nearly finished both of them. The bathroom is a bit old-fashioned, but we've chosen to only change the shower for the moment and leave the rest. The kitchen was a disaster, and Jack has been taking out the old cupboards little by little. He hasn't done them all yet, so we can't eat there. We've been cooking in the living room, using a little gas stove. Meanwhile, the children have started at their new school and come home every day with stories about who they've met and what they've been doing all day.
You must come and see us. (When we have a kitchen!)
