A good friendship is based on trust, respect, support, and understanding. I don’t make friends easily, but I have a close friend who knows me well.

My best friend is Alex. We met at school 10 years ago. He is tall, slim, brown-haired, green-eyed, and wears glasses. He is smart, funny, kind, generous, creative, and adventurous. He understands me better than anyone else and supports me in everything I do.

We get on well because we have a lot in common. We both love reading, watching movies, playing games, traveling, and learning new languages. We do a lot of things together and we always keep in touch. He has helped me many times when I was in need.

He has never let me down intentionally. Sometimes he couldn’t be with me because of some reasons beyond his control. We never quarreled seriously or fought with each other. We always respect and forgive each other. We have never lost touch completely, even when we were apart for some time.

I appreciate friends who are honest, trustworthy, understanding, and supportive. A special friend shows loyalty, patience, love, and interest. Alex is my best friend and I’m lucky to have him in my life. I hope our friendship will last forever.
