Sorry for not writing for so long but it's taken me ages to get used to my new neighbourhood. I've had difficulty getting used to things, you know. Anyway, I'm writing to tell you my news.

I now live in a bigger house, and I finally have my own room. My mother even let me do what I want with it—I painted it pink and put up posters on the walls. It's fantastic! The new neighbourhood is very nice, especially compared to our old one in the suburbs. It's greener and quieter here.

At the beginning, I was feeling lonely because I didn't have any friends, but things are getting better now that school has started. I'm starting to meet kids my age, and I'm hopeful about making new friends soon.

Anyway, that's all my news for now. I'm hoping you can come and visit soon. Write back!
