It happened on my friend's birthday. We gathered at her house to celebrate. I was helping to prepare the table and was carrying a large, beautiful cake from the kitchen to the living room.

As I walked through the doorway, I tripped over the threshold and dropped the cake right on the floor. Everyone froze and looked at me. I was shocked and didn't know what to do.

But then everyone started laughing and saying it was okay. We picked up the cake from the floor and still ate it. I felt a little awkward, but was glad that my friends weren't mad at me.
