Hi Lisa,

We've been in Siena for three days. I really love it now, although I didn't like it much at first. We arrived very late on Wednesday night and we discovered that our room reservations didn't exist and that the hotel didn't have any other rooms available.

I've dealt with the owners of many small hotels through the years, but I've never met one as kind and generous as Signora Tenaglia. She called all over town until she found a really nice room for us, and she also invited us to have a home-cooked meal with her. We haven't done it yet, but we've decided to do it on Tuesday.
