It seems like ages ago since I last saw you! I've always wanted to tell you that I've started planning to get married. We met at Gill's wedding.
First of all, I've found a new job as an editorial assistant for a local newspaper. I wasn't going to apply, but Steve encouraged me and much to my surprise, they invited me for an interview! I started working there six months ago.
What else? We've been busy planning the wedding, but we still haven't had the chance to meet you! We've always wanted to see you! So much has happened recently that I don't know where to begin. First of all, I've met someone special. His name is Steve, and we've been together for a little over a year now. We've always wanted to take a holiday in Turkey, and we finally had the chance to go there last month. We had a great time!
