What has surprised you when you met people from foreign countries?

Meeting people from foreign countries can be a surprising and enriching experience. One thing that often surprises me is how different their cultures can be compared to my own. I also find it interesting to learn about their daily lives and how they differ from what I am used to. Sometimes there are language barriers, but I find that even if we don't speak the same language, we can still communicate through gestures and facial expressions. Overall, meeting people from foreign countries has broadened my perspective and taught me to appreciate the diversity of our world.
