1 trail; 2 clearing ; 3 spring; 4 branches; 5 prey.

Объяснение:

We had a great weekend. We went camping in the forest.

During the day we hiked a (1 ) trail through the forest. We

found a lovely (2) clearing in the trees for a picnic. We were

close to a (3) spring so we refi lled our water bottles.

It was very peaceful but suddenly there was a loud noise

of breaking (4) branches . I imagined a big hungry bear

hunting its (5) prey , but then I remembered we weren’t

in bear territory! Maybe it was another hiker.

Heidi is going to Frankfurt
A. One day Heidi’s aunt from Frankfurt came to see them. She told Heidi it was time for her to go to school. Heidi became sad. She didn’t want to go so far from her home, she didn’t want to live in a big city, but she had to go. So off went Heidi to Frankfurt, far away.

B. Peter looked after a lot of goats and Heidi helped him. She made friends with all Peter’s goats and never forgot their names. They played different games. Heidi danced and sang beautiful songs. In winter she stayed at home with her grandfather. Sometimes Peter visited her and they walked down the mountains to see Peter’s granny who was nearly 80 years old, and Heidi read to her.

C. It took them long to arrive to Frankfurt. They went straight to the aunt’s house. Heidi’s aunt had a daughter, Clara by name. Clara was a good-looking slim girl. She had a little turned-up nose, lovely curly hair and beautiful eyes. Clara was modest and hard-working. Soon the girls made friends. Heidi loved her cousin very much.

D. Once upon a time there lived a sweet little girl – Heidi was her name. She lived in the mountains with her grandfather. Heidi was happy in the mountains. She loved to listen to the winds which spoke to her; she loved the trees that helped her to get home. She loved to speak to the flowers that grew in her garden. Every day in summer she went up the mountains to see her friend Peter.
