Many people think whales (balinalar) are fish, but actually they are mammals (mamalilor), not fish. They breathe air and give birth to their babies. Some species of whales dive (suya dalmaq) deep into the ocean and cart stay under the water for more than an hour. But all whales must come to the surface for air. Whales have different species. Orca whales, which are black and white, are highly trainable. They are also called "killer whales". Whales are very intelligent and friendly. They cannot smell or see anything, but they can hear a wide range of sounds and can communicate with each other. When a whale is captured in a net (tor), other whales gather around it and communicate through the net. The captured whale is followed by other whales for long distances
