It was a beautiful Saturday morning, and the weather was perfect for a day at the beach. My friends and I had planned to meet up at the beach at 11:00 am, and we were all excited to spend the day together.
I arrived at the beach at 10:50 am and set up my spot in the sand. I texted my friends to let them know I had arrived and asked when they would be getting there. They responded, saying they were running a bit late and would be there in 20 minutes.
As I waited for my friends, I watched people playing volleyball, building sandcastles, and swimming in the ocean. Time passed, and my friends still hadn't arrived. I started to worry that they might not show up at all.
Finally, at 12:00 pm, my friends arrived. They apologized for being late and explained that they had gotten stuck in traffic. I was just glad they had made it.
We spent the rest of the day playing games, swimming in the ocean, and soaking up the sun. It was a fun-filled day, and we all had a great time.
In the end, we learned the importance of being on time and planning ahead to avoid getting stuck in traffic. Even though my friends were late, we were still able to enjoy the day together and make lasting memories.
