Over the last few years, there has been a growing debate about whether all schools should have required (generous kindness/organization that helps people) projects where students help people in their communities. While some people believe that such projects are helpful and necessary, others argue that they are unnecessary and possibly harmful. In this (written opinion), I will explore both sides of the argument before presenting my own opinion on the matter.

On the one hand, there are (more than two, but not a lot of) forcing/forceful/interesting reasons why schools should have required (generous kindness/organization that helps people) projects. Firstly, such projects teach students important values such as kindness-related, deeply caring, understanding feelings, and social responsibility. By starting/working at work that helps needy people, students learn to put others before themselves and become more aware of the needs of their community. Secondly, (generous kindness/organization that helps people) projects provide students with an opportunity to develop important skills such as teamwork, leadership, and communication. These skills will be extremely valuable to students in their future careers and personal lives. Finally, work that helps needy people can help to build stronger (forces that join things together/promises to pay money back) between students, their school, and their community, creating a sense of togetherness and common purpose.

On the other hand, there are those who argue that required (generous kindness/organization that helps people) projects are unnecessary and possibly harmful. Some may argue that such projects take time away from (related to school and learning) subjects and do not add/give to a student's overall education. Others may argue that (generous kindness/organization that helps people) projects can be seen as a form of forced labor, and that students should not be needed/demanded to work for free. Also, there is a concern that (generous kindness/organization that helps people) projects may strengthen or add support to negative mental pictures about certain communities, causing to continue a "white person (who saves someone from harm)" way of thinking and encouraging a culture of father-basedism.

In my opinion, while required (generous kindness/organization that helps people) projects may have some possible (bad results or effects), the benefits far outweigh any potential negative results. Not only do (generous kindness/organization that helps people) projects provide valuable chances to learn things for students, they also help to create a more kind and responsible (community of people/all good people in the world). It is important, however, that such projects are designed in a way that is respectful to the communities they are serving, and that students are not forced to start/work at work that helps needy people if they do not wish to do so.

In end/end result, while there are arguments for and against the idea of required (generous kindness/organization that helps people) projects in schools, I believe that such projects are necessary for the development of kind, very kind and understanding, and socially responsible students. By starting/working at work that helps needy people, students learn important values and skills, and add/give to the (improvement/ positive change) of their community. It is important, however, that such projects are carefully designed and put into use to make sure that they are respectful, effective, and meaningful.
