Different children have different favourite stories. Very young children usually like stories about animals better than stories about people. These are stories about strange and wonderful places. These places are not real. They are 'made up' places. Some of the best fantasies are films. Star Wars is a fantasy. Star Trek is a fantasy, too. In Egypt and other Arab countries stories from Arabian Nights are very popular. Some of these stories are quite popular in the UK, too.
