Last Saturday I sprained my ankle while I was playing football with some friends. 0 Fortunately/ Unfortunately the injury was not very serious. 1 At rst/Suddenly it didn’t hurt at all. My foot felt a bit strange but that was all. But 2 nally/a few minutes later I started feeling a lot of pain and my ankle started to swell. When I got home, my mum took my trainer o carefully. 3 Meanwhile/ After that I lay down on the sofa with my leg on a cushion. Then we tried to stop the pain and swelling with a packet of frozen peas. It didn’t help much so my mum took me to the doctor 4 in the end/immediately.​
