I was in London recently and one of the places that impressed me was Green park. This park is spread out over a huge area filled with various plants and trees. Flowery lawns, terraces, alleys, sun-drenched ponds, amazing fountains, all created a beautiful atmosphere all around.
In the main part of the park are numerous benches where you can relax and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding nature. The park also offers the chance to walk amongst architectural landmarks, such as Buckingham Palace, the residence of Queen Elizabeth II, which can be seen just a couple of minutes' walk away. At the weekend, the park comes alive with performances by artists and musicians.
I loved this park for many reasons. Firstly, it was beautifully decorated and well maintained. Secondly, I found many interesting places there that made me feel reassured and excited. Thirdly, I had the opportunity to relax and enjoy a beautiful London day in the park.
I definitely recommend a visit to the Green park. It's a great place to enjoy nature in the middle of a busy city and forget about the hustle and bustle around you. It surprised me how such a place could exist in the giant metropolis that is London. If you haven't visited this park yet, I highly recommend you go there on your next trip to London.
