I can't believe it's already been a day since I woke up in the Ice Age! So much has happened since then. I've met so many incredible animals and even had to outrun some pretty scary predators. But the good news is that I made it through the day and I'm still alive.
Today was all about survival. I started the day by gathering some sticks and building a fire. I learned from my experience yesterday that warmth is key to staying alive in this frozen world. Once the fire was going, I set out to find some food. I stumbled upon a berry bush and quickly collected as many as I could find. They weren't the tastiest berries I've ever had, but they did the trick.
As I was making my way back to my camp, I heard a rustling in the bushes. I froze, not knowing what to expect. But out popped a cute little squirrel! It was a welcome break from the constant danger I've been facing. I spent a few minutes watching the little guy gather nuts and acorns and it reminded me of home.
After my encounter with the squirrel, I decided to do some exploring. I walked for what felt like hours, but I didn't come across anything too exciting. It was just endless snow and ice. Eventually, I found my way back to my camp and settled in for the night.
I'm not sure what tomorrow will bring, but I know that I'll have to keep fighting to survive. This experience has been terrifying, but it's also been a reminder of how resilient humans can be. I'm determined to make it out of here alive and to never take the comforts of modern life for granted again.
