I would like to tell you about one of the Ukrainian towns. This town is Lviv. It is situated on the Poltva river, which flows underground. Lviv is in Lviv region. The history tells us that it took its name after the son of the King of Danylo of Halych. There are a list of well-known people, who lived in Lviv, such as academic Mikhailo Hrushevsky, the composerer Volodymyr Ivasiuk and the opera singer Solomia Krushelnitska. Lviv is famous for its chocolate, coffee and lions - a traditional symbol of the city. Some say there are 4.500 lion statues around town, for instance on houses, benches, doors and on the coat of arms. There are my places of intrest, some of them are: Lychakiv Cemetery, Lviv National Theatre of Opera and Ballet, Rynok Square, Lviv High Castle and others. I like this town because it is beautiful and I live here from my day of birth
