I used to have a fear of public speaking, but I was determined to overcome it. One day, I was asked to give a presentation at work in front of a large audience. I was nervous, but I knew I had to face my fear.
As I began my presentation, my hands were shaking and my voice was trembling. However, I kept going and tried to focus on the content of my presentation. To my surprise, as I spoke, I started to feel more confident and comfortable. The audience seemed engaged and interested in what I was saying.
As I finished my presentation, the room erupted in applause. I couldn't believe it - I had not only faced my fear, but I had also succeeded in delivering a great presentation. From that day on, I felt more confident in my abilities to speak in public and even started to enjoy it.
This experience taught me that sometimes we just have to face our fears and push ourselves out of our comfort zones. With practice and determination, we can overcome our fears and achieve great things.
One day, my friend and I went for a walk in the forest. I thought I knew it well because I used to ride my bike there a lot. But I did not think that the sun was already setting, and we had just reached that part of the forest where I had not been yet and we were just walking not knowing where to go. In the end, we realized that things were not going very well, but we tried not to panic, because panic is the main enemy of a person in a difficult situation. For a joke, we planned how we would survive in the forest, how we would build a shelter, make a fire, and look for food. It calmed us down for a while. Meanwhile, it was getting darker, and looking for a way out in the forest at night was a little bit more difficult than during the day. Fortunately, this story ended well. We passed a lake and I noticed something familiar. It was a fallen tree that I often saw when I rode my bike there. Further exit from the forest was not difficult and we returned home happy.
