1) Where you were yesterday?- I was at home whole day,- How strange. I was ringing you up at 2 oclock, but nobody answered,- Oh I was in the garden. I was reading your book, and did not hear the telephone.

2) Wat did you do at five oclock yesterday? - I was working in the library. I was there, too, but I did not see you.

3) Nina celebrated  her birthday yesterday. Her room looked beautiful, there was many flowers in it. When I came in, somebody was playing the piano, 2 or 3 pairs were dancing.
