A. The plane took off from the airport and rose into the air. A few minutes later, the pilot noticed a problem with one of the engines. He turned round and headed back to the airport. Luckily, the plane landed safely on the ground.

B. As the car approached the red traffic light, it slowed down. But there was ice on the road and it spun round and round. We were standing on the pavement nearby, but luckily the car didn't reach us - it stopped just two metres away.
