I like travelling by plane as it is the easiest way to see other countries. In this case I don't need to spend days on the road even if the destination is on another continent.
As I'm not into beaches I'd like to visit locaions with hystoric significance, and one of those places is the Tower of London which is the most notable in London. The castle and fortress is one of the city's most impressive and recognizable structures. Perhaps this place is best known today as the home of the Crown Jewels. The highest-profile prisoners of the country were kept behind the thick stone walls. They say the grounds are still inhabited by spooky crows. London has no shortage of destinations for people with a curiosity for the dark. As I've heard they give the toutists Jack the Ripper walking tours, which I'm interested in as well.
