The lion has been called the "king of beasts" for so long that many people are itching to break this cliché, which is why it is called the king of the bald.
Lions like to rest and be lazy. Every day they spend 16 to 20 hours resting and sleeping. They have few sweat glands, so they wisely conserve their energy by resting during the day and become more active at night when it is cooler.
Lions are the national animals of Albania, Belgium, Bulgaria, England, Ethiopia, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Singapore. We love lions.
