Paul needs to get more reputation in his class, because most of bullyings is always targeted to students with less reputation than others, get more friends, hit the gym, go to martial arts and etc. that also help you to mend your health, mental health, emotinal stability and just get fun and be in smae "wave" with others.
About bullies, they are the people who get fun from making someone cry, feel pain or see sad face on he's face. Or they want to show theyre reputation of "bully" so people will get scared from them and walk away or join them to scare others " if you cant beat them, join them.". Also that can show that bully have traumatic past, but thats a rare causes. All of bullies have very many reasons to make others feel pain.
If Paul already felt pain of getting bullied, now he need to make ALOT of friends, do sport, talk with everyone girls or boys so he will get good reputation from others opinions, also he can get a girlfriend that will make everything even faster because he can talk to her everything he want. The post-traumatic growth will affect much more and better to him if he will do all of that, and he will protect from bullies.
