One day last month, I was walking home from school when I saw a stray dog. It was a small, scruffy terrier with big, sad eyes.

Then, the dog followed me home.

While I was feeding it some leftover chicken, I realized that it didn't have a collar or any identification.

At first, I wasn't sure what to do with the dog, but I knew I couldn't just leave it on the streets.

So finally, I decided to take it to the animal shelter and see if they could find its owner or find it a new home.

Two days later, I went back to the shelter to check on the dog. I was happy to see that it had been adopted by a kind family who promised to take good care of it.
