Some people think that appearance plays a key role in our lives, and everyone wants to be beautiful and attractive. However, others insist that people place too much importance on appearance. So, how important is it to look good? Personally, I think that looking presentable is very important for every person of every age. First of all, people who are satisfied with their physical appearance tend to be self-confident. Indeed, by looking well-groomed and nicely dressed one can easily communicate with others and achieve goals. Secondly, people who want to look attractive tend to go in for sports. Most of them follow a diet and go to the gym. Thirdly, people who care about their appearance look after their health. It is generally accepted that visiting a doctor for regular check-ups can help prevent illnesses. Furthermore, it is easier for candidates to find a job if they are aware of the dress code etiquette.On the other hand, some people believe that it is not so important to look nice. In their opinion, physical appearance does not affect overall personality. Experts advise not to aim to be a perfect being but to strive to be a better person. I partially agree with this statement. People should pay equal attention to their appearance and per- sonality development. Besides, there is nothing to prevent a good-looking individual from becoming a better person, isn't it?
