Robin Hood's Progress to Nottingham, Child 139, Roud 1790[2])is an English folk ballad from the Robin Hood ballad series. Known from several broadsides (published prints) of the second half of the 17th century, the earliest of the texts is titled Robin Hood and the Forresters. All Broadsides indicate that the ballad should be sung to the tune of Bold Robin Hood, however, it is not possible to determine the musical motive behind this name.
