Let me tell you some words about my favourite singer. Frankly speaking, i’m fond of music in general, that is why I find it difficult to choose only one person. But as it is necessary, i’m ready to speak about a solo artist, whose songs are certain to enhance my mood in any case. I am going to tell you about Sting. It is a well-known British rock-musician, his full name is Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner. And he was presented with an honourable title “Sir”. Sting was born in 1951, and he made the very first steps in music when he was only 10. His career began in numerous jazz bands, after all he became popular as a member of “The Police”. In 1985 he decided to be a solo-singer and up to now he is bringing joy to his admirers, creating real hits. As for me, I like his compositions for the tune and specific spirit. All of them are saturated with philosophy, lyrism and some emotional stress. My favourite songs are “Shape of my heart”, “Mad about you” and “Rise and fall”. He is known to gain his nominations for Grammy more than once. Isn’t it a good reason for love and respect?
