My friend

What do you understand by the phrase best friend? What kind of person is this and who is he to you? What is the meaning of friendship?

For me, the best friend is a person who is always ready to help and support in a difficult moment. I have many faithful friends, but the best friend is one. His name is Nazar.

We met Nazar in kindergarten when we were five years old. He was transferred to our group, which is how our friendship began.

He always shared toys with me, played with me in the sandbox, let me play his favorite cars. We slept next to each other at bedtime and spoke in whispers while the teacher, Maria Petrivna, left on business. Those were wonderful times. I remember graduation from kindergarten, when we launched balloons into the sky and made wishes. It was then that I decided that Nazar and I would be friends forever. I think it came true. We have been friends for five years.

Then, at the age of seven, we went to the first grade. It so happened that Nazar and I got into the same first class. Unfortunately, we were not seated at the same desk. Nazar sat in the first row, and I sat in the third, but we still looked at each other in class and sometimes giggled. In second grade, we were seated closer together, so we were able to write notes and pass them through our classmates.
